Pre-Worlds Training camp!!!

I have been down at Nagel dam for th elast week and a half training my guts out in preparation for the World Champs in Canada next month. We have trained really well with the majority of SA’s top paddlers here to push the pace in every session. Added to that is the absolute beauty of the valley of a thousand hills and great food that has been catered for us and we are having a good camp. The only problem is that there is a lot of us here, because the junior team training for junior worlds are also on a training camp down here. It is great to have a lot of faces around, but it does make the house that we are staying in a bit crowded. Other than that I am having a great time and doing some really good training at the same time. Thanks to CSA and Lotto for putting this camp together for us.

This weekend I am jetting off to Franschoek for 2 days to see my girlfriend and her family before returning to the camp on sunday evening to continue training on monday morning. I will return home on the 25th and then leave to Canada about a week later for the final prep before worlds. Its all pretty exciting from here :-)
